Publication Process and Reviewing procedure

Articles sent for publication undergo an initial verification of the merit of the content and the arrangement of the text. After receiving the editor’s acceptance, articles are sent to two independent reviewers not associated with the institutions affiliated with the author, using the double-blind review process (authors and reviewers are not given each other’s identity). Reviews are done in written form and should end with a definitive conclusion as to the appropriateness of accepting or rejecting articles for publication. The names of the reviewers are made available once a year in the last issue of the publication. The rules for acceptance or rejection of articles and the form used for writing reviews can be found on the website of this publication. The editor does not return unsolicited materials and reserves the right to edit or shorten articles.

After receiving a positive review an author is obligated to respond to all comments and make all corrections suggested by the reviewer and to send the editor the final corrected version of the article in Polish and English, one copy each. Articles should be sent in printed form along with an electronic version (CD/DVD). The electronic version should contain separate files for the main text and all illustrations, figures, photos, drawings, diagrams and tables. The graphic material should be saved in the source files (i.e., DWG and/or PSD, CDR), in commonly used graphic formats, TIFF, BMP, JPG (uncompressed), and in the CMYK color system. Minimum file resolution should be 300 dpi.
